Shady Blinds was founded in 2018 by Luke, based in Weddington, Nuneaton. After a poor experience with the most famous blinds company in the uk, I wanted to build a business that did things properly — where customers spoke to the person actually doing the work, not a call centre, Without the pushy sales and imaginary special offers.

Since then we’ve grown steadily — not by becoming a big national operation, but by doing good work, treating people fairly, and letting word of mouth do most of the talking. We now fit blinds, shutters, and awnings across Warwickshire and beyond, with hundreds of installations under our belt and a team that genuinely cares about getting things right.

Everything starts with a free home visit. We come to you — with samples, a tape measure, and no sales pressure. We look at your windows, talk through the options, and give you a fixed quote before we leave. If you’re happy to go ahead, we place the order. When it’s ready, we come back and fit it ourselves.

No call centres. No subcontractors. No surprise costs on fitting day. Just straightforward, honest service from a local team that takes pride in what it does.

We believe that made-to-measure window coverings shouldn’t feel like a luxury reserved for people who know where to look. A properly fitted blind or shutter changes a room — and every home deserves windows that work well and look great.

We supply and fit the full range of made-to-measure window coverings:

Blinds — roller, Roman, Venetian (wood, faux wood, aluminium), vertical, cellular, day & night, pleated, Allusion, perfect fit, CLIC, VS2 and shaped blinds for non-standard windows.

Shutters — plantation shutters in wood, polymer, and aluminium. All styles: full height, café, tier-on-tier, bi-fold, tracked, and shaped.

Awnings — motorised and manual awnings from Weinor, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers. Pergolas and outdoor living systems also available.

Everything is made to measure. Nothing comes off a shelf.
